I have so many happy memories of my godparents, Uncle Jack and Aunty Kaye, taking me out around my birthday when I was young.  It was always a trip in the car to a surprise location to a lovely park, countryside, on the ferry or a beach.  It always seemed to be a beautiful sunny day.  Uncle Jack had the witty Todd sense of humour and Aunty Kaye always chatty and outgoing.  Later in life we would visit and Aunty Kaye would make one of her fantastic fruit cakes for us to take away, even up until last year.  She liked to be independent, enjoyed her time at Mary's hairdressing salon and socialising.  We often talked about our relatives departed and both believed in the after life as did Uncle Jack and their daughter Jacqui, my last conversation with Aunty Kaye was about a big celebration for her arrival on the other side.
